WELCOME TO MS. KRUZ'S MATH WEBSITE:

Information on this website is to provide grade 8 and 9 students and their parents with the procedures, requirements, and strategies to be successful in Math.

ATTENDANCE

LATES:

If you are late, wait quietly outside the door until Ms. Kruz lets you in. Quietly get to you seat without disrupting others. Frequent lates will be dealt with in the appropriate manner.

ABSENSES:

You are ultimately responsible for your own success in this class. This means you are responsible for making up all missed work. Report to Ms. Kruz the first day you return from your absense to make arrangements regarding missed tests, assignments, or quizzes.

Parents:

Students are responsible for checking the website at home or in the library if they have been absent for any reason.

GENERAL RESOURCES

TEXTBOOKS : 

Textbooks should be covered for the duration of the school year. If the cover falls off, please recover the book. Spot checks will be made for book covers.

MATERIALS : 

Every student should come to class with highlighters, pencils, erasers, pens, paper, binder with lined paper, calculator, and textbook, and Agenda. 

MATH HOMEWORK CRITERIA:

1. NAME, DATE, BLOCK, PAGE #

2. PENCIL ONLY

3. ALL ASSIGNED WORK IS COMPLETED OR ATTEMPTED

4. COPY QUESTIONS AND SHOW ALL WORK

5. TOP-DOWN FORMAT

6. CHECK YOUR WORK. CIRCLE UNSOLVED QUESTIONS.

TUTORIALS

If you are starting to feel like you don't understand something, come in and ask questions! Come in before school or at lunch. Ask if you want to see me after school.
