Fine Arts 8 Dance/Drama

As part of their curriculum, Grade 8 students have just presented THE LITTLE PRINCE to family and friends. The production was a great success as students discovered the process of staging a full length play. Thanks to the leadership of senior students backstage, much fun and excitement was felt by all as talents were discovered, fears were overcome and lessons about "growing up" were appreciated by all.

Final assignments are now under way: commercials and non-violent communication skits.

Dance Company/Dance Crew/ PE Dance

These classes are the core Dance groups of our most recent production of Mid Summer Night's Dream. Dance Company choreographs all of the pieces as well as play leading roles as dancers. Second term for all three groups is dedicated to this very challenging and worthwhile collaborative and highly educational experience. They are learning to create and to apply their Art in a very significant and socially impacting way. Our goal is to lead them towards finding their voices as artists.

As second term draws to an end, everyone is now feverishly preparing two final choreographies to honor our ROYALS Athletes on June 7th.
