Thank a Veteran Campaign – Petra Willemse

Some English students recently found themselves tasked with a curious homework assignment: bring a stamp or 56 cents to class. Next class, they discovered they were writing a 'postcard for peace', a program run by Veterans' Affairs. The students brainstormed ideas and then wrote a short note to either a currently serving member of the Canadian Forces or a Canadian veteran.
