On March 11-13 our small Gymnastic team of 3 girls and 4 boys competed at the B.C. Gymnastics Championship. In spite of our small numbers Zoe, Sara, Kayla, Troy, Riley, Gabriel, and Lucas competed with heart and skill to help the team finish 9th among 50 other schools from around the province.

In the girl’s level 1 the team of Zoe, Sara, and Kayla, finished in 6th place in a field of 25 teams. In the boy’s level 1 Troy, our only competitor, worked hard to earn a 4th place out of 17 competitors. Finally, in the boy’s level 2, Lucas, Riley, and Gabriel not only excelled to finish 1st, 3rd, and 7th individually, but their combined scores helped them win the level 2 overall trophy. A special congratulations to Lucas, whose 1st place provincial finish was his first in 4 years of determination and hard work.
