During first term at Montroyal, our school-wide focus is on Children of the World.  Through activities, lessons and projects in many disciplines, our students are being encouraged to understand and appreciate the similarities and differences betweeen the values and beliefs of their own culture, and the cultures of others.  During our Thursday afternoon Art Workshops, multi-age groups of children have been working together on projects ranging from pottery to digital photography, within the Children of the World theme.  Emphases have been placed on inventive thinking, social responsibility as a global citizen, and effective communication.
