The Strings Program consists of Toccati Strings (Grade 8 and 9), Concerti Strings (Grade 9-12), Chamber Strings (Grade 10-12). Handsworth Strings Quartet and Alternative
Electric Strings. The Alternative Strings uses a quintet of Yamaha electric instruments. The Strings groups have also received top ratings at Festivals. Instruction begins at Grade 4 in the four associated elementary Schools.

| The high school band program consists of: four concert bands: Blue, Gold, Intermediate and Senior Wind Ensemble; two chamber wind ensembles; and an auditioned elementary honour band. Instruction begins at Grade 5 in the four associated elementary Schools. |

The Jazz Program ?includes three jazz bands and two jazz combos.
Some of the most recent jazz and wind ensemble tours have been to: China,New York, Cuba, Newfoundland & Nova Scotia, New Orleans, Hawaii, Florida, Australia in March 2008. The Bands have consistently won top honours at local and international festivals.
