North Vancouver City Youth Services

North Shore Youth Safe House Program:
The North Shore Youth Safe House is a place where youth can come and find a comfortable and secure place to stay. The Safe House is staffed by caring and friendly youth workers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The North Shore Youth Safe House is operated by Hollyburn Family Services Society, a caring and committed service provider to the North Shore Community. If you are couch surfing, have been kicked out of home or evicted, are at risk of harm or abuse, need a safe place to stary, afraid to go home, or need a cooling off period OR are a parent or caregiver in need of a place to turn then they can help.

(a division of the Ministry of Children and Families): Offering 1-1 counselling, aswell as counselling for the following groups: Cool Kids (elementary age students) Teen Skills - beginning the 3rd week in October. It's still got space available.(for youth with anxiety) CONNECT Parenting Group - particularly helpful for families with children who exhibit acting out behaviours (see attached brochure) ADHD Parent support Group to be offered in January
