   A Parenting Pre-Teens and Teens Workshop: A free 4 seminar series from April 25th - May 16th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Taking Care: Child & Youth Mental Health New web-based Knowledge Tools have been developed by the Knowledge Network on depression, behavious disorders, anxiety and psychosis in children and youth. These in-depth, on-line resources provide direct access to related print, video, and web-based resources.

Teen Depression    Dealing with Depression: Anti-Depressant Skills for Teens, a guide for teens and adults, is intended to assist youth age 13 to 17 who suffer from depression or who believe they have an early or mild form of depression.

Here, you'll find worksheets and printable resources of simple, step-by-step instructions on how to help your anxious child cope with specific issues - such as back-to-school worries, dealing with nightmares, or having difficulty making friends.

The North Shore Stress & Anxiety Clinic provides a wide range of assessment and treatment options to individuals and families.The website also has provides online videos, articles and numerous other resources.

This link contains a number of free reports that he has posted containing tips on improving studying habits, improving grades and making the most out of your day. New reports will be posted monthly. Child & Youth Mental Health  (a division of the Ministry of Children and Families) offers 1-1 counselling, and the following groups:

Cool Kids (elementary age students)
Teen Skills - beginning the 3rd week in October. It's still got space available.(for youth with anxiety)
CONNECT Parenting Group - space available for January (attached brochure) - particularly helpful for families with children who exhibit acting out behaviours
ADHD Parent support Group to be offered in January
