Accolades to the Argyle Choirs from Both Kiwanis Fesitvals This Year

Both the Junior Jazz Choir & Senior Vocal Ensemble participated in the the Kiwanis Jazz Festival at Cap U this past February where the Senior Vocal Ensemble was selected by the adjudicators as the Outstanding Jazz Choir, which resulted in a scholarship for the choir.

The Choir 10 class and the Concert Choir participated in the April Kiwanis Choral Festival, a 3 day event with over 45 choirs.
The Concert Choir won the unanimous recommendation to participate in the Provincials in the 19 & under category (Paul J. Bourret award) and one of our grade 10 male students recieved the Sam Balden Scholarship for most outstanding soloist at the festival.

  Way To Go Argyle!

The AMA Holiday Challenge was a great success.  81 boxes of non-perishable food were presented to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and the Harvest Project.

The Senior Vocal Ensemble performed carols among the nativity exhibits and craft fair area at the Highland United Church on November 26th.
