Private awards require separate forms and have differing deadlines. Some of these are advertised publicly and the information we receive is posted in the Student Services area. Others awards are available only to dependents or relatives of a union member, for example, or employers may offer them. These will have to be sought out by the individual ~ ask your parents, check your own place of employment -  don’t be satisfied until you have a conclusive answer. Examples are the Paul Pollhammer award for soccer refereeing, the North Shore Community Credit Union Scholarship, and the VanCity Community Scholarship for credit union members only.
