2010 Business Excellence Award Recipient
 The North Vancouver Outdoor School is the proud recipient of the 2010 North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Community Contribution Award. The Community Contribution Award recognizes and honors organizations and/or individual community leaders for their significant contribution and commitment to the local North Vancouver community at large. Western Stevedoring and Port Metro Vancouver presented the award at the 13th Annual Business Excellence Awards Dinner and Award Ceremony on November 4, 2010 at the Pinnacle Hotel and Pier. Fellow nominees were Neptune Bulk Terminals and the Harvest Project. Sky Spirit Studios in North Vancouver custom created the eagle crystal bowl art pieces for the awards. Sky Spirit Studio specializes in placing Wade Baker's copyrighted graphic west coast images on fine artworks. The North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards were created to publicly recognize successful companies and organizations in North Vancouver that continually demonstrate excellence in business and a passion for their community.
