Information and Communication Technology
The ICT Services team is responsible for the specification, installation and on-going support of all the School District's Information and Communication Technology (ICT), in both the classroom and office environments.
Senior members of the team are available to assist schools with their ICT planning as well as attending staff and parent meetings to discuss issues relating to the use of ICT in the curriculum. The focus of our ICT Planning is on the effective and appropriate application of information and communication technology to teaching and learning and avoids the temptation to define technology in terms of desired hardware and software.
The team has taken a key role in developing the use of Information and Communication Technology in the curriculum to support both teaching and learning and is constantly seeking to improve its service to the staff and students of North Vancouver School District. |
