Each year, the Board must prepare an annual budget, consult with the community on budget decisions, and adopt a balanced operating budget in a timely manner.  The Board's budget bylaw must be adopted on or before June 30th of the fiscal year.  The 2011/12 Annual Operating Budget was presented at the Public Board Meeting on May 24, 2011.  It was passed and adopted.

The 2011/12 Annual Operating Budget totals $139,467,377.  

As required by Section 11 of the School Act, the 2011/12 Annual Operating Budget balances estimated expenditures to forecasted revenues. 

As the 2011/12 fiscal year progresses, spending is monitored and the Board may make adjustments as needed and amend its annual budget.
