APPROVED LOCAL SCHOOL CALENDARS

Premier Christy Clark and the Honourable Margaret MacDiarmid, Minister of Labour, Citizens' Services and Open Government, announced today that BC's Family Day statutory holiday will be scheduled on the second Monday in the month of February each year. Prior to today's announcement, the Province of BC had scheduled Family Day 2013 on Monday, February 18, 2013. As a result of today's change, the North Vancouver School District has modified its 2012/13 Local School Calendar to reflect the new date of the Family Day statutory holiday on Monday, February 11, 2013.
