This semester I am teaching French 8, 10, 11 and 12.  See each page for a complete course description.  I teach in room 203.  My tutorial times are upon appointment, usually after school.  

Favourite websites:  I use these sites quite often, and some of them you might also find useful for grammar practice or finding out more info about France, Quebec or Francophone culture, music and other things.  I will add in websites as I find them; please let me know if you find any sites that you think are great!

                    There are some great online sites that provide to audio for a variety of words and phrases. Here a few sites.

 a) Bonjour:*** This is an outstanding site for hearing and repeating French words, phrases and sounds. The audio is clear and quick. The choices are large. For example, you may choose from a variety of lists including greetings, seasons, time, touring and more.

More Free Tutoring: CORE FRENCH

LearnNow BC has recently expanded the free tutoring services by adding Core French in Grades 9-12.   The Core French Live Tutors are waiting to hear from your students!  They are available every week from Monday to Thursday 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Students can even communicate with their live tutors in the french language by changing their keyboards (there are instructions and videos to explain how).  Let your students know they can login and say "aide"!  

8)  There is now a French encyclopedia in the library for beginning French students!

                            Introduction to simple spoken French that will help students (grade 7+) learn useful sentence structures to order meals, introduce themselves, find their way in a city... Students may appreciate learning French using this practical approach, a change from textbooks.
