Pi just happens to be Mr. Pruner's favourite transcedental number. 

Argyle has held a few Pi-offs, where students demonstrate their ability to memorize digits of Pi.  The world record is held by Hiroyuki Goto from Japan.  In 2006, he memorized 100,000 digits!! Wow.  Below are some of Argyle's record holders:
