   Welcome to Capilano’s MUSIC Page!
Check back often to see Capilano students' creativity at it’s musical best!

We are in a new year of learning in the music room with 21 different groups entering the music room each week to learn about music and band! Most classes this year are receiving one class of music each week. So far, classes are working on composers and the I.B. Learner Profile. Most classes have chosen a composer. We are creating large posters about the composers and posting them in the music room over the next few weeks. Students in all grades will be learning the song "Something Bigger Than Me". This song was written last fall by Capilano students and Lowry Olafson.

Students will be exploring music, dance and some drama in the music room this year. To look at specific programs, please click on the links below.

The Capilano Chorus is welcoming all Grade 2-7 students  to join choir in mid October.

The Capilano Chorus practices at 8:00-8:40 on Wednesday mornings. Please show up on time so we can work on our repertoire.

Students are asked to bring a duotang to hold their music, and they will need to work on learning their words at home.
