Welcome to the Handsworth United Nations Club!
The Handsworth United Nations Club meets every Tuesday at lunch in room 223. New members are always welcome!
Our club logo was designed by Lauren Ko and Anne Wen. The globe symbolizes our interest in global issues and international cooperation. The olive branch around the globe represent peace, an ideal of the United Nations and of our club. Lastly, the Handsworth crest represents our connection as a school club to the United Nations Organization and to the world at large.
The Handsworth United Nations Club was founded in February, 2008, by Nicole Miller and Ethan Plato. The teacher sponsor of the club is Mr. J. Donald.
