These procedures for registration and transfer requests are in effect for the 2010/2011 school year.  Please refer to School Catchment Areas to determine the school catchment area for your place of residence.

Priorities for student placement at this point in time are dependent upon place of residence and on available space, facilities, resources, and/or appropriate educational program required to meet the student's needs.  

Students New to the North Vancouver School District
Students (Kindergarten to Grade 12) who are new to the school district must register in person at the Central Registration office (located at Lucas Centre, Room 102, 2132 Hamilton Avenue).  Children born in 2005, turning 5 by December 31, 2010, can register for kindergarten. 
Documents required: completed student registration form, birth certificate, proof of citizenship (if not born in Canada), proof of residence (hydro bill and/or purchase/ rental agreement) and current report card.  Please bring original documents.

Transfer Requests
Students currently attending a North Vancouver School District school who have moved to a new residence and wish to attend their new catchment area school will need to fill out a Transfer Request Form and submit it in person to Central Registration.
Documents required: proof of residence (hydro bill and/or purchase/ rental agreement).  Please bring original documents.
