Student Council members organize and run social and fundraising activities and provide service to the school. Elections take place in late spring. Nominations for the position of grade representative are open to all students in that grade. Those for position of President or Vice President are accepted only from candidates who have:
1.
upheld Sutherland’s Code of Conduct during the past school year,
2.
maintained a GPA of 2.75 or better,
and
3.
previously served on Student Council for at least one year
or
4.
have made a significant contribution to the school.
You are welcome to attend Student Council meetings with your ideas. The Council wants to work for YOU!
