GRAD COUNCIL
Grad Council is a committee of grade 11’s elected in the spring, who coordinate grad activities for the following year.
*A student may hold only one elected position (e.g. Student or Grad Council).
COUNTER ATTACK
Students in Counter Attack work to raise awareness about safe driving. They organize and plan events in which the entire school can participate to combat drinking and driving.
86% CLUB
Any student in grade 12 may join this group of students who meet frequently with Mr. Benoy to become informed about the many opportunities for awards and bursaries available to Sutherland grads. Assistance with the writing of applications is available.
ENVIRONMENT CLUB
Ms Lieblich meets weekly with students who are interested in promoting environment responsibility at Sutherland.
REACH FOR THE TOP
Reach for the Top is a club for people who are interested in general knowledge and trivia. It's a way of amassing lots of general knowledge and we complete against other schools which is lots of fun!
OTHER CLUBS INCLUDE:
Knitting Club, Anime Club, Cancer Awareness Club, Best Buddies, Peer Tutoring, Glee Club, Dance Club.
