MATHEMATICS

The basic aim of Sutherland Secondary School is to enable students to become numerate citizens who use logic and a variety of mathematical methods to problem solve.  We strive to encourage students to recognize the importance of mathematics in their everyday life, to develop confidence in their ability to problem solve, to develop critical thinking skills and to enjoy doing mathematics!
