The Adopt-a-Shelf program is a new initiative at Sherwood Park School to involve the school community in helping maintain the library collection. Parents, grandparents or senior students can help organize and shelve books to enable resources to be found quickly. You can devote as little as 10 minutes a week in the library at any time that is convenient for you.

You will be assigned a non-fiction shelf of the library. Your responsibility will be to keep that shelf in numerical order and to re-shelve any books on the trolley that belong on your shelf. Why not try it for 10 minutes at 9:00 or 10 minutes at 2:50 while waiting for your child.  It's easy and it makes a difference! It also provides for a great opportunity for you to help at Sherwood Park when it is convenient for you.
