Seycove Student Vote

Now we can officially report them! In the end, Seycove elected Taleeb Noormohamed (Liberal Party) as their candidate, with 38.9% support; Andrew Saxton (Conservative Party) came in second, with 20% of the vote; Greg Dowman (Green Party) was third, with 16.9% support; Michael Charrois (New Democratic Party) was fourth, with 15% of the vote; and Nick Jones (Independent) received 8.6% support.

It was somewhat of a different story nationally for student vote as you can see below:

On April 28th, along with 3795 other schools across Canada, Seycove participated in Student Vote. Students were given the opportunity to vote for the same local candidates as were running in the Federal election. In the end, Seycove elected Taleeb Noormohamed (Liberal Party) as their candidate, with 38.9% support; Andrew Saxton (Conservative Party) came in second, with 20% of the vote; Greg Dowman (Green Party) was third, with 16.9% support; Michael Charrois (New Democratic Party) was fourth, with 15% of the vote; and Nick Jones (Independent) received 8.6% support. The event was well supported by students and staff which helped all of Seycove participate in the democratic process.
