Norgate Community School, Xwemelch'stn, is situated south of Marine Drive in a quiet residential community that consists almost entirely of single family dwellings and town house complexes. Our catchment area also includes the Squamish Nations Capilano Reserve Land, which is just to the west of the Norgate Community. As we are located just off Marine Drive, we are surrounded by commercial establishments, including restaurants, and shopping centres. We are within walking distance of several community facilities and public services, which makes accessibility for our staff and students easy. Perhaps due to the enclosed and somewhat sheltered neighbourhood, Norgate enjoys a strong sense of community spirit and parental support.
