Janet Canning from Capilano College came to do an Embryology workshop with the students of Division Two. During this introductory lesson, we examined three day old chick embryos whose hearts had just formed and were newly beating!
We took three eggs from our incubator and were pleased to find that each one had the beginnings of new life inside.
Stay tuned for the birth of our baby chicks -- and something new this year: ducklings! |
