Keeping a sick child home
With the cold and flu season approaching, please read this notice from Vancouver Coastal Health about when to keep your child at home when they have an illness. 

Valet Program
In partnership with the BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation, Lynn Valley Elementary will once again be running a valet program at the school.  We encourage various intermediate students (grades 5, 6, and 7) to volunteer their time between 8:20am and 8:50 AM to help provide a warm welcome and car door service at the curbside.   At no time to we expect or allow our valets to patrol or cross the street.  Various recognitions and incentives are given to the students throughout the year for their dedication of time and community spirit that they provide.  In order for this program to work for the safety of all of our Lynn Valley Students, we ask that parents drop their children off on the school side (west side) of the street (not in the staff parking lot).  Thank you for helping to make this a successful program.
