What are the Library hours?

 

Monday – Friday  8 am – 4 pm

 Please note:  The Library may close at various times for school/class meetings.  The Library staff will place a notice on the door as soon as they are informed.

How many Library books can one take out?

 

3 books

 

How long can one keep the Library books?

 

3 weeks

 

What happens if one does not return the Library
book(s) on time?

 

We do not charge fines.  The Library staff will give the student a phone call home or personally tell the student to return the late book(s).  If the student does not return the Library book(s) within two weeks, he/she will lose his/her library privileges.  This means the student may not use the library at any time until the book is returned or renewed.  This includes class time.

Please help us get our books returned or renewed.  Thank you.

 

What happens if a person loses a Library book?

 

The student will be given notice to pay for the book or buy a replacement copy.  If the student finds the book within 30 days, he/she will receive his/her money back.

 

How many computers are there in the Library?

 

27 computers

 

Are there any Library rules???  Yes

 

Read or work quietly on assignments. 
No socializing.

The Library is a place for quiet, purposeful work.

 

NO FOOD OR DRINK (INCLUDES WATER).

Why are there no backpack packs or large bags allowed in the Library at lunchtime?

 

·        They take up valuable space in our small Library.

·        It stops students hiding books in friend’s backpacks.

·        It stops the temptation for some students to eat and drink in the library.
(Please lock your backpack, etc. in your school locker at lunchtime.)
