Remember Me
In Flander's Fields, the poppies wave; they mark the place of soldiers brave. Is this what life was meant to be? In Flander's Field's, remember me.
We fought, we died for the war cannot end tied; one side has to win you see. In Flander's Field, remember me.
Six years we fought ; we changed the way the teachers taught. Many died to pay the fee. In Flander's Fields, remember me.
A cruel wind blew on days of battle; cries from Navy boats, "Paddle! Paddle!" When will we have victory? In Flander's Fields, remember me.
Everyone from friend to niece was happy when we brought peace. Finally, we'd found the key. In Flander's Fields, remember me

Gift of the Nile From the sands of the desert a city was wrought, Where crops were grown and battles were fought. A river flowed through the land of the kings, And from this river came many things.
Each year the Nile would faithfully flood, And leave behind banks of mud. Along its muddy banks grew, Grain and wheat and flowers, too.
Egypt is the Nile's gift, The ghosts of ancient boats still drift, Along the Nile clear and cool, Unchanged by time's merciless rule.
