Principal's Message

Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to your neighbourhood school. Our Cove Cliff Staff’s beliefs are founded upon facts and generally accepted values. These beliefs help us to assess what we are doing and guide our future efforts.

• Each and every person is entitled to respect

• The goal of education is to assist each student to achieve his/her fullest development intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically and culturally.

• Students learn in different ways and at different rates: however,
they can all learn.

• Learning should be an active process.

• Emotional stability, positive self-concept, good health and
nutrition are essential in order for maximum learning to occur.

• The ultimate purpose of education is to empower students to face
the challenges of the future with knowledge, understanding, skill, confidence and hope.

• The school environment and the human interactions within should convey that learning is a joyful experience.

• To maintain a partnership between home and school, it is
important that parents be kept informed about all aspects of their
child’s program.

• Parent involvement in all areas of school life is highly valued.
