On Thursday, October 13 a group of students travelled to Rogers Arena for We Day.
WE DAY is a youth leadership conference put on by the Craig and Mark Kielberger organization "Free the Children". In total there were 18,000 students and teachers from around the province attending the conference.
The conference offered a range of guest speakers on topics like the environment, self esteem, and volunteering. Some of the guest speakers included the Kielbergers, Mikhail Gorbachev, Shaquille O'Neal, and Mia Farrow. It was an amazing and inspiring day!
