On Friday, September 9th, under sunny skies, Carson North and South joined together to create a rainbow of champions. Mr. Rob Watson led all the students in a sports day of sorts, Ms. Thornhill orchestrated the flash mob, and the Parent Advisory Council served lunch to over 1100 students in less than half an hour. A great ending to a great week!!!
Start-up week this year was structured around workshops including: How to Formulate an Argument; Intercultural Awareness; Community and Service; and Critical Thinking - all to initiate key skills students will use in their classes and lives all year long. Workshop week was an intense and fun way to create a strong start for the year ahead.
