Congratulations to staff and students who together raised $1978 on April 27th in the Cuts for Cancer campaign. Students collected donations and pledges to shave or cut their hair to be made into children's wigs. The funds raised are donated to the Canadian Cancer Society, where they will be put towards supporting cancer research and cancer treatments. Thanks to all the student for donating their gorgeous locks and to all those who made donations.
Special thanks go out to Ms. Gellatly and Shaida for organizing the event, to hairdressers Mrs. Koker and Sage Clarke for donating their skills and, as always, to Mr. Bjornson for the great pictures. |
