The International Baccalaureate Programme
The aim of the International Baccalaureate Programme is to develop internationally-minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help create a better and more peaceful world. The programme strives to create international student ambassadors who are committed, talented, articulate, and compassionate. This is accomplished through intercultural education which promotes understanding and respect for others. The Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP) build upon the inquiry-based approach to learning; both are universally recognized courses of study that emphasize critical writing and creative thinking skills in preparation for university studies.
At the Carson Graham North Campus every student is enrolled in the Middle Years Programme, whereas in the Diploma Programme (grade 11 and 12), students apply to enroll in the two year programme. Applications are accepted early each spring.
