This is a brief overview of the major assignments for Grad Transitions this year, and how they relate to the Ministry’s Prescribed Learning Outcomes:

 

Personal Health

DPA – Students must complete 150 minutes per week of Daily Physical Activity

  • Ms. Dolha – Students track using Act Now BC website & complete reflective assignment

  • Mr. Kiss – Students track using sheet provided (sheet must be signed)

 

Transition Planning

All Grad Transitions students must complete a budget assignment

Scholarship lessons & Post Secondary Institute release forms

Transition Plan Assignments

  • Ms. Dolha – Snapshot of Me in a Year

  • Mr. Kiss – Should I be This or That

 

Community Connections   

30 Hours Work/Volunteer Experience

  • Dolha – Hand in a copy of paystub, T4, letter from an employer/volunteer supervisor, or proof of Work Experience course completion

  • Kiss – Fill out form provided & attach proof

All Grad Trans students must update their resume, cover letters, and thank you letters to reflect this experience

 

Students will also have the opportunity to see a variety of guest speakers throughout the year.
