Haitian Relief Fundraising You did it Balmoral!! $4407.21 was raised last Thursday for the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. Thanks to our 'dare to care' teachers, Ms. Johnston, Ms.Gellatly, Mr. Walker, and Mr. Erickson, for providing incentive with their 'dares'. Mr. Bourdon, Mr. Burtt, Mr. Bjornson and Mr. Bedard  performed their musical number in the gym on Friday last week. Unfortunately (or fortunately) there are no pictures of the performance. Thanks also goes out to Ms. Bagnall, Ms. Gellatly and the Student Council for spearheading and organizing this worthy fundraiser. Thanks also to Elly Kill of High Maintenace Salon for donating her hair dying skills. If you like the look her business cards are available on the main office counter. Teacher Dares $2000 - Mr. Erickson will wear a NY Yankees jersey and hat and Ms. Johnston will wear a Vancouver Canucks jersey (for a week!). $2500 - The 4 B's - Mr. Bjornson, Mr. Burtt, Mr. Bourdon and Mr. Bedard will perform a mystery musical number in the gym. $3000 - Mr. Walker will shave his hair into a skull! $3500 - Ms. Thomson will dye her hair leopard print and Ms. Gellatly will dye her hair purple!
