Learning is Social
North Vancouver has been hosting LAN parties once a month. Teachers, support staff and students enjoy a fun evening of learning with a party atmosphere. They have a choice of watching a variety of video presentations on new learning tools and projects. Many of these presentations are from the K12 Online Conference. After each presentation, a videoconferencing tool called “Skype” is used to connect live with the presenters no matter where they are in the world! These "live" Skype sessions enable participants to ask pertinent and thoughtful questions! Come and join a community of learners that are enthusiastic about discovering new ideas and tools!
