In this site they have combined google world maps with world bank data

Flowing Data
Shows the number of Walmarts spreading across America

Olympic Medals
Shows number and type of Olympic medals won (can be viewed by country or by year).  Great for data analysis and creating graphs.

Historical Gas Prices
Shows gas prices (in a graph) for Canada and the US (over the past 6 years).  It is very easy to compare the price in different cities and during different time periods.
